This 525i Touring is a proper BMW enthusiast project, and worth saving. This car has been fitted with a 540i V8 with a manual gearbox.

Tourings are a rare sight, even though more than 27000 Touring units were built at factories in South Africa, Germany and Thailand.

Originally finished in Cirrus Blue Metallic, it now presents in Black with a Black/Cream cabin. The current status of the 4.0L V8 is unknown, and this car will need recommissioning and restoration attention — but for the right buyer, it’s the kind of rescue mission that can become a seriously special long-roof BMW.

The Vin number indicates it was originally a 525i 6 Cylinder Touring, at some later stage a BMW 4.0 V8 motor was fitted – Great restomod project, being offered at auction without reserve!
