Description

The BSA A65 Star was BSA’s unit-construction 650 twin aimed squarely at the US market, offering a cleaner engine layout and a more modern look compared to the earlier pre-unit machines. Built from 1962 to 1972, these bikes have become sought-after classics thanks to their handsome lines and period British charm.

This 1963 example is finished in a classic silver and black combination with black seat and shows just 384 miles indicated. It has been standing unused for an extended period and is currently not running. It will require at least a new battery and general recommissioning – fluids, checks and setup – before being returned to road use.

Offered as a built-up motorcycle with paperwork, this BSA A65 Star represents a rewarding project for a British bike enthusiast wanting to bring a sixties twin back to life.
