The Ford Model T is one of the most important cars in automotive history, widely regarded as the machine that brought motoring within reach of the middle class and changed personal transport forever. Produced from 1908 to 1927, it remains an icon of the pioneering age of the motor car.
This 1917 Model T Speedster is a charming open-top two-seater, built from a fascinating combination of steel, wood and brass that perfectly captures the spirit of a bygone era. Finished in red with cream seats, it presents well and is reported to be in running and driving condition, although it would benefit from a service and general check-over before regular use.
Please note that the car is not registered and has no paperwork, and as is typical for a car of this age and type, it does not use a conventional key. Whether used for shows, static display or as part of a serious vintage collection, this Model T Speedster is a wonderful piece of motoring history and a striking reminder of motoring from more than a century ago.
