This 1965 Opel Rekord 700 Caravan is a wonderfully unusual and rarely seen classic estate, offering loads of period charm and restoration potential.

The Rekord Caravan was Opel’s practical estate version of the popular Rekord range, and the 2-door wagon body makes this example especially interesting. With its long roofline, large rear loading area, chrome detailing and simple 1960s German design, it has a character all of its own.

It is not a show car and will require TLC, but it has great presence and would make a very cool classic wagon once brought back to standard.

The interior carries a proper period look, with brown front seats, a simple dashboard layout and excellent space for a vehicle of its era. Spare seats are included with the car.
