1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT 1600 “Step Nose”

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT is one of the most desirable early Giulia coupés, produced between 1963 and 1965 and styled by Bertone. Best known for its sought-after Scalino, or “Step Nose” front-end design, it remains one of the most elegant and collectible Alfa Romeo shapes of the era.

Powered by Alfa’s legendary 1.6-litre twin-cam engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the Sprint GT delivers the kind of light, rev-happy and connected driving experience that made these cars so loved by enthusiasts.

This 1964 example is finished in classic red with a black interior and has clearly been well cared for both mechanically and cosmetically. Recent upgrades and maintenance include four new Michelin tyres fitted to 14-inch Alfaholics GTA-style rims, a stainless-steel exhaust system, new shock absorbers, new suspension rubbers, new tie-rod ends, and a new propshaft centre bearing.

With its iconic Bertone styling, early Step Nose appeal, tasteful upgrades, and driver-focused mechanical package, this Giulia Sprint GT is a wonderful classic Alfa for the collector who still wants to get out and enjoy the drive.

Sadly many have left our shores to Australia and UK and are becoming really scarce.
