BMW 3.0CSL

R3 300 000

Vehicle Overview

Description

Launched in May 1972, the BMW 3.0 CSL was built as a homologation special for European Touring Car Championship racing and only 1,265 were produced. The “L” stands for Leicht (light), with weight-saving measures that made the CSL the sharpest, most focused E9 of them all.

This example is finished in its factory Golf Yellow with the signature CSL black side stripes, riding on Alpina 14-inch alloy wheels. Inside you’ll find genuine Scheel bucket seats, a Mountney 3-spoke steering wheel, and classic woodgrain trim that keeps the grand touring vibe intact.

With just 500 right-hand-drive CSLs produced worldwide, this is an exceptionally rare and highly desirable piece of BMW Motorsport history and one of the ultimate Bavarian collectibles.
