1991 BMW 325iS Evolution II – South African Motorsport Legend

The BMW 325iS Evolution II stands as the pinnacle of South African-built E30 performance, born from Group N racing success and refined for the road. Built at Rosslyn in limited numbers, it was the final and most powerful evolution of the 325iS lineage.

Powered by the 2.7-litre M20B25 straight-six producing 155 kW and 265 Nm, it sends power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed Getrag manual and limited-slip diff, delivering that classic balanced BMW feel. Lightweight aluminium panels, the M-Technic II kit, and 15-inch BBS alloys complete its race-bred setup.

Finished in Alpine White over Black leather, this numbers-matching example is beautifully preserved, still retaining its original tool kit. Imported from the UK and carefully maintained, it shows just 128,970 km, a superb example of South Africa’s most celebrated performance icon.
