The 8 Series was introduced in 1990 under the E31 model code and was only available as a two-door coupé. It is powered by a range of naturally aspirated V8 and V12 petrol engines. The E31 started production just as E24 6 Series production ended; however, it is not considered a direct successor. The E31 was discontinued in 1999

The car above is the (M60) 4.0Lt V8 version with 5 speed automatic. The vehicle was delivered new to the UK in 1995. There is a service book and manuals with numerous invoices and partial UK service history up and till 109000 Miles

The car was imported into South Africa and first registered here in 2008.  New tyres have been fitted recently. It has had some paintwork.
