Description

2003 BMW M3 (E46) – The Driver’s Choice

Few cars capture the spirit of precision driving quite like the E46 M3, and this example is one of the finest. Showing just 57 300 km, it remains an exceptionally low-mileage, well-preserved example of BMW M’s most balanced performance icon.

Equipped with the sought-after 6-speed manual transmission, this M3 offers the pure, mechanical connection that enthusiasts crave, a perfectly weighted clutch, a short, precise shift, and an engine that begs to be wound out to its 8 000 rpm redline.

Under the bonnet lies BMW’s legendary S54 3.2-litre straight-six, producing 252 kW (333 hp) and 362 Nm of torque. With individual throttle bodies and double-VANOS variable valve timing, it delivers an intoxicating blend of throttle response and sound, a naturally aspirated masterpiece that defined a generation of M Power engineering.

This example retains its original BMW tool kit, factory-fitted 6-disc CD shuttle, and comes complete with books, service invoices, and a custom car cover. Importantly, the engine short block was replaced by BMW JSN Motors in March 2005, and the updated engine number is correctly reflected on the eNaTIS system (invoice included).

Finished in Alpine White III over black leather, the car remains remarkably original, sitting on factory M double-spoke 19-inch alloys with its signature quad exhausts and flared arches giving it timeless, muscular stance.

Regarded by many as the sweet spot of the M3 lineage, the E46 strikes the perfect balance between analog feel and everyday usability, lightweight, naturally aspirated, and endlessly rewarding to drive. A true collector’s example for those who understand what makes the ultimate driver’s car.
