The Jaguar 420 is an understated British saloon that still carries real presence today. Nearly 60 years on, it remains a handsome and elegant classic with proper Jaguar proportions and old-school executive charm.

Finished in Battleship Grey, this example has a distinctive look. We have been informed that this colour was offered on South African cars, adding an interesting local-market talking point. The paintwork has been redone at some stage and presents well overall, although there are areas that would benefit from further attention.

The current owners received the car as a non-runner in 2018 and have since brought it back to life.
