Description

Few South African performance cars carry the cult status of the Opel Kadett Superboss.

Built in the early 1990s as a Group N homologation special, the Superboss was Opel’s answer to BMW’s 325iS and quickly became a legend on road and track. Only 500 examples were built, making it one of the country’s most desirable local performance icons.

Powered by a 2.0-litre 16-valve DOHC engine with Irmscher tuning, a Schrick camshaft profile, Promotec chip and André Verwey’s famous limited-slip differential, this was a proper driver’s car with real motorsport DNA.

This white example is one of those 500 cars, making it a highly collectable piece of South African performance history. It presents well with a neat interior and sits on its classic 5 star wheels, adding to its period-correct appeal.

Confirmed as genuine by its correct “S” VIN prefix, this Superboss still delivers that raw, raspy character that made these cars famous.

A true slice of South African motoring history and still ready to play.
