Description

The Triumph Speed Twin is one of the most important post-war British motorcycles, celebrated for its light weight, elegant styling and smooth, lively parallel-twin engine. Produced from 1947 to 1958, the 500 Speed Twin played a major role in Triumph’s revival after the war and remains a highly desirable classic among collectors and enthusiasts.

This 1950 example is presented in maroon with a black seat and appears to remain in standard condition, without obvious modification. Power comes from the 498cc twin-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed gearbox, and the odometer shows just 2 596 miles indicated.

The bike has not been run for a long time and is currently not starting. It will require inspection and recommissioning, including at least a new battery, fluids, checks and setup, before being returned to road use. Offered with paperwork but without keys, this Speed Twin represents an appealing opportunity to acquire a sought-after British classic with strong collector appeal.
