Creative Rides closed out the year with the December 2024 Christmas Online Auction, marking another major step forward for South Africa’s collector market. This sale was a real success, breaking away from our traditional offering of collectible cars to include memorabilia, model cars and ships, broadening the appeal to enthusiasts worldwide.
Under the proverbial hammer went 231 lots, spanning everything from an almost complete collection of James Bond models to stationary engines, Fly and Ninco slot cars, and watches. The variety drew competitive bidding from local and international collectors alike, proving once again that Creative Rides auctions capture a truly global audience.
Highlights of the Sale
- A Jaguar E-Type, which attracted bids on the very first day and was never outbid thereafter, testament to its enduring desirability.
- The sale of several Mercedes-Benz classics to a client who only viewed the cars in February 2025, underscoring the trust in both Creative Rides and the quality of vehicles presented on our showroom floor.
