Creative Rides hosted its very first Evening Auction on 27 March 2025, and it turned out to be an unforgettable night. Together with our partners, Roxsure and Merchant West, the event transformed our Bryanston showroom into a vibrant stage for automotive passion, energy, and record-breaking sales.
With around 200 guests enjoying a fully catered evening, the atmosphere was electric. The line-up of vehicles entrusted to us by our collectors made the night even more special – spanning from the 1948 Cadillac Convertible to the modern 2015 Maserati Quattroporte GTS. Each car drew the attention of buyers from across South Africa and abroad.
Among the standout moments were:
- A 2005 BMW M3 CSL achieving a strong result.
- A rare 1957 Mercedes-Benz 220 (W187) drawing spirited bidding.
- A fully restored by a master restorer Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda that proved the enduring global demand for the model and is one of the best Pagodas in South Africa.
- A rare find in the form of a 1989 Ferrari GTS with only 37,000 km and a full service history.
But the true stars of the evening were the BMW E30s. The legendary BMW 325is set a new auction record, while the BMW 333i in Henna Red with power steering stunned the room when the hammer fell at over R3,000,000.
