Built by Kit Car Centre and carrying serial number KCC 219, this Cobra Replica is all about performance first, attitude second. It delivers the kind of raw, mechanical V8 experience that modern cars just can’t replicate.

Performance upgrades include Edelbrock heads, inlet and manifold, an E-Street 315HP Performance Kit, 600CFM carb and a Performer 2101 cam — all working together to deliver stronger throttle response, increased power delivery and a far more aggressive driving character than a stock 350 V8.

At its heart sits a Chevrolet 350ci V8, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, but this is no ordinary setup. The fuel management system is derived from a Corvette Stingray, bringing race-inspired precision and response to the package. The engine itself was rebuilt in June 2024 (R53,000) and upgraded well beyond standard spec.

The Jaguar suspension setup plays a key role here, giving the car proper road-holding ability while still allowing that lively, tail-happy nature you expect from a Cobra. It’s planted when you need it, but never dull — exactly how a car like this should feel.

Finished in pearl white with teal striping and sitting on 15-inch chrome wheels with Halibrand-style inserts and knock-off spinners, it looks every bit as serious as it drives.

Inside, it stays true to the analogue experience — Jaguar instruments, additional gauges and a wood-rimmed steering wheel keep things focused and driver-oriented.
